BEAUTY


I had been to my son's school  yesterday , when I read a line on the blackboard :

 THE BEAUTY OF ALL THINGS LIES IN OUR  ABILITY TO SEE IT.
 Indeed , it is our eyes that sees or perceives the image or object 

 and  relays the message to the brain to appreciate it. All this is 

 done in a split nano second or  at a bat of an eyelid.  If one 

 appreciates a piece of sculpted piece ,  it is elevated to the form of art and the sculptor 

 becomes an artist. If an untrained eye fails to sees what the connoisseur  envisages, 

 there is no art in the said piece. It remains a piece of sculpted metal to a layman.

Mona Lisa, the masterpiece by the Italian artist Leonardo da 

 Vinci is the most appreciated oil on canvas. Hadn't it been for the 

 patrons of art , the masterpiece would have remained unknown. 

 Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.A thing of beauty is a joy 

 for ever. Readers, do you agree with me?

    Beauty is something you truly feel with your heart, Kalpana. I believe we must trust our instincts more than the experts to know what is beautiful.

    I remember a story that we read way back in our primary school...."a little lost girl is unable to give her mom's name and all she says is -my mother is the most beautiful woman in the world...the people search for all the beautiful ladies of the town but none of them is the girls mother....when they find her, she's the ugliest lady in town...but to the girl, her mom's was the most beautiful"

    so beauty is in ......

    120 percent we agree. The perspective of a person lies within himself and often the same world may look to be dismal to him in a moment and amazingly beautiful the very next...
