crowd

crowd  crowd crowd everywhere
Is there no peace anywhere?

why are the people pushing?
where are they running?

To outdo each other
to join the rat-race, dear brother!

to earn pots of money,
sugarless cookies and green tea, Honey!

Pay EMIs of house and car.
but away from home, far.

Kids  at fancy schools
swimming like fishes in small pools.

When mind and body breakdown
rush out of town

to a sea-side resort
or a five star  detox

away from city hustle-bustle
to a vacation jungle.

back home spending the 2 days - 3                           nights deal bargain.
to start the routine all over again.

  4. Story of My life...I have had a pause, totally screwed up my health..but I guess it was an addiction earlier..I liked the adrenaline rush of crazy deadlines, achieving goals said impossible by all..now..have slowed down..I do have time to breathe than earlier..but feel something amiss..Withdrawal symptoms perhaps..I don't know..i wish there were many Me's. that would have done justice than compromising one for the other :D
