Patterns

Azure waters of the sky
dispersed cotton clouds fly
assume shapes varied
Stars, meteors, galaxy myriad.

                                Celestial patterns, twinkling blanket.

White swirling surf on shore
lashes , open the deep secrets more
sand grains a mesmerising code
decipher, its origin, a boulder erode.

                               Crabs weave a sandy pattern.

Petals bloom, display their hues
sipping nectar , buzzing bees
B'flies spread their palette
nightingales croon a duet.

                                Nature's serene pattern of colours

Full moon, crescent shape.
smiles and tears drape
sorrow and joy
rise , ebb and buoy.

                              Life, a collage of mixed patterns.

                    TOGETHERNESS


Alone I stare at the moon
together we can count the stars
under the canopy of open sky.

        Alone I dance 
        together we can tango
        to the tune of eternal love.

                Alone I drink
                together we can raise a toast
                taste the nectar of happiness.

                          Alone I breathe
                          together we can live
                          a life of fulfilled wishes

                                    our hearts beating together
                                    is music , a symphony
                                    an orchestra of togetherness.

 

             You and me
      in the Garden of Eden
Unspoilt, unaffected by evil eyes.

Fragrant winds

Theme Thursday for May 1, 2014 - WINDS
                             
The dark blanket above
frowned menacing
threatening to gulp
the soft genteel moon glow.
Winds  screamed quietly
piercing the silence.
another tempest raged 
midst of my mind.
Heavens help me!
I implored.

                                    A strong scent attacked
                                    the doors of my nostrils.
                                    Fragrance spread
                                   from heart to grey cells
                                   cast a smile on my parched lips.
                                   with oars of fragrance
                                   I'll row thru disturbed
                                  waters of adversities.
